North Hills Hunt

Hill Top Trekkers

You are invited to ride with a new group, the North Hills Hunt Hill Top Trekkers. Rides will generally be about 2 hours and most will include some type of picnic at the conclusion. The overall pace will be walk-trot, but riders can fan out and go at their own pace, including jumping if desired.

Rides will be primarily on private land, including riding the NHH hunt countries on non-hunt days. We will schedule rides all year round and include some overnight events such as the annual Burwell Ladies Ride.

NHH Hill Top Trekkers is free to all NHH members, basic and above. A $30 event fee will be charged guests. Overnight riders will have a stabling/meal fee.

The group will not conflict with scheduled NHH events. If there is interest, NHH Hill Top Trekkers will also follow scheduled hunts, aiming for good hill top views of the hunt with jumps optional. Regular capping fees of $40, with a limit of three rides for guests will be charged for formal hunts.

Dress for riders will be ratcatcher or western riding clothes. Hard-soled boots and helmet are required at all NHH events. Formal hunt dress or formal Western dress is the attire for following the hunt.
